Originally from Seattle, WA, Jessalynn began her career working as a journalist out west in the fast-paced world of newspaper reporting and quickly discovered a love for strategic communications.
At Sun Graphics, Jessalynn is the Senior Marketing Strategist and loves working with clients to achieve their vision and goals for their company through strategic communications.
Previously, she worked as the Marketing and Community Development Director for Family Service Association, one of the oldest nonprofits in Wisconsin. Here she oversaw everything from a website redesign and rebranding to redesigning all print collateral and digital communications for their agency locations across the state.
Prior to her time at Family Service Association, Jessalynn worked as a Marketing Consultant for Midwest Communications. In this role, she worked with clients across all industries to assess their needs and developed comprehensive marketing strategies to help their businesses succeed in new ways.
Jessalynn started her marketing career working for both private and public schools, including the Sheboygan Area School District Recreation Department. While at the Recreation Department, Jessalynn managed donor campaigns, designed all new print collateral, developed digital communication channels, and managed print distribution to over 40,000 households in Sheboygan County. During her time at the SASD Recreation Department, she doubled online engagement rates within six months and maintained their upward trajectory.
Jessalynn also has a background in working as an Event Coordinator for the only five-star resort in the Midwest, The American Club Resort. At The American Club, Jessalynn collaborated with clients to capture their vision and coordinated with cross-functional leaders to deliver million-dollar corporate events and weddings.
Jessalynn holds a degree in Print Journalism from Northwest College, as well as a BA in Mass Communications and Media Studies with a minor in Digital Audiences from The Walter Cronkite School of Mass Communications and Media Studies at Arizona State University. She is also certified in Google Analytics and Google Adwords.
